TheexperimentisconductedontheX(S)M-1.7Llaboratorymixerinordertofindtheinfluenceofrotorclearanceoninternalmixer’scapacity.3-DFEM(finiteelementmethod)modelsarebuiltandpressurefield，viscosityfield，velocityfieldandtemperaturefieldaresimulated.Thesimulationshowsthatrotorclearancebringssomeeffectoninternalmixer’scapacitysuchasthepressure,temperature,viscosity,velocity,andshearstress,etc.Theexperimentalresultindicatesthatrotorclearanceaffectedthemaximumpower,consumptionofunitenergy,productioncapability,mixingtimeanddumpingtemperatureandsoon.
