Inthisstudy,thermosettingepoxyresinandglasswovenfabricwithandwithoutthesurfacetreatmentwereemployedasamatrixandreinforcement,respectively.Fourkindsofdeposit(pick-up)ratiosofpolyurethanedispersion(PUD)treatmentsontheheat-cleaningglassclothwovenfabricwerecarriedout,includingowt%(withouttreatment),0.76wt%,1.51wt%and6.49wt%.Inparticularly,theeffectofsurfacetreatmentofsilanecouplingwasusedascomparison.Basictensileproperties‘investigationforthesecompositeswascarriedoutbyusingInstronUniversalTestingMachine.Furthermore,thermalmechanicalpropertieswerealsoinvestigatedbyDynamicMechanicalAnalysis(DMA)measurement.Asaresult,itwasrevealedthattensilemodulusdidn,tmakeabigdifferenceafterapplyingsurfacetreatmentofpolyurethanedispersion(PUD).However,thetensilestrengthwasimprovedtodifferentdegreewithvariedpolyurethaneweightcontent.Simultaneously,thermalmechanicalpropertiesofthesecompositesmeasuredbyDMAshowedthesamechangingtrendwithtensiletest.Inthispresentation,therelationshipbetweenthePUDsurfacetreatmentweightcontentofglassclothandimprovedmechanicalpropertiesarediscussedbasedontensiletestandDMAmeasurementresults.
