TPVsareaspecialclassofthermoplasticelastomerswhichoffersthefeelandperformanceofthermosetrubberwiththeeasyprocess,convenience,cycletime,andrecyclabilityofathermoplastic.HighperformanceTPVsarecapableofwithstandingtemperaturesupto150°Candatthesametimeexhibitgoodheatandoilresistance.TheaimofthisworkwasthedevelopmentofaTPVwithgoodmechanicalpropertiesaswellasgoodresistancetononpolarsolvents.PA6andNBRwerechosenasthepolymersinacomposition40/60inmassPA6/NBRanddifferentcuresystemsweretested.
