Basedonthe20yearresearchexperienceinelastomersblockcopolymerplastics,recentlytwonewmaterialswithsurprisingcharacteristicsweredeveloped:“SEPTONTMQseries”and“LA-Polymer”.With“SEPTONTMQseries”anewTPEclassisopened,sinceitcanbecombinedwithmanyotherplastics.SomeoftheresultingCompoundscompeteevenwithTPUandTPAEproductsintheirkeyparameters:e.g.softness,elasticityatlowtemperature,tensilestrength,marresistance,hydrolysisresistance,etc.Withinthispresentationanewcompoundingconceptonbasisofthisrawmaterialisdescribed.SEPTONTMQseriesisaunderdevelopmentalstage.
