Inthisarticle,themiscibility,intermolecularinteractionanddampingpropertiesofhybridsconsistingof2‘-methylene-bis-(4-m-ethyl-6-cyclohexyl-phenol)(ZKF)andchlorinatedpolyethylene(CPE)havebeeninvestigatedbyDSC,FTIRandDMA.TheresultsofDSCdisplayedthattheZKFandCPEweremiscibleintheamorphousstate.TheanalysisofKweiequationimpliedthattherewasastrongintermolecularinteractionbetweenZKFandCPE.AsmallmoleculeZKFmayformtwohydrogenbondswithtwoCPEchainsatthesametime,andthehydrogenbondnetworkexistedinthehybrids.Theenergydissipationduetodissociationoftheintermolecularhydrogen-bondnetworkwaslargerthanthatofduetogeneralfrictionbetweenpolymerchains,thelosspeakincreaseddramaticallyandthepositionofthelosspeakshiftedhightemperatureregion.
