Organiclight-emittingmaterialsbasedonelectroluminescenceofconjugatedpolymersandmolecularmaterialshaveattractedgreatattentionbecauseoftheirpotentialapplicationsinanewgenerationofdisplayandlightingtechnologiescl].Inthepastdecades,molecularandpolymerici,3,4-oxadiazolederivativeshavebeenthemostwidelystudiedclassesofelectron-injectionand/orhole-blockingmaterials,mainlybecauseoftheirelectrondeficiency,highphotoluminescencequantumyieldandgoodthermalandchemicalstabilitiesc2].However,someimportantandfundamentalchallengesremain,includingmaximizationoftheexternalquantumefficiency(EQE),designandsynthesisofnewmaterialsforpurercolors,andmodesofaddressingdevicesforafull-colordisplaywithoptimizedresolutionc3].Inthiscontext,wehavedevelopedanefficientapproachtoindole/pyrrole-fusedheterocyclesthroughaCu-mediatedregioselectiveC-Hactivation/aminationofN-aryl-substitutedindoles.Thesetransformationsfeatureexcellentregioselectivityandhaveawiderangeofsubstrateswithvariousfunctionalgroups.ThestructureofneworganicmoleculeisunambiguouslyconfirmedbyX-raydiffractionexperimentswhichwerecarriedoutatroomtemperatureonaBrukerthree-circlediffractometerwithsmartapexCCDareadetector.Inconclusion,wefocusonthesynthesisofthenewindole/pyrole-fusedheterocycliccompoundsusedaslight-emittingmaterialsandstructureofthesmallorganicmolecules.Thestudyofpropertiesoftheindole/pyrole-fusedheterocycliccompoundsusedaslight-emittingmaterialsiscurrentlyunderway.
