Silicananoparticleswerereportedtobeabletoapparentlyimprovethemechanicalpropertiesofpolymersandpolymermatrixcompositeswhentheparticlesweremixedintothepolymermatrix[1].However,itisnormallydifficulttodispersetheparticlesintothepolymericmatrixwithoutaggregation.Herein,wepresentanovelapproachwheremonodispersivesilicacolloidswithvariantsizesweresynthesizedbyasurfactant-templatedmethod.
