Asaby-productsofsoyoilproduction,plentyofsoyproteinexistedinsoydreg,andhowtoutilizethiskindofrenewableresourceisbecomingmoreandmoreattractive.Inthiswork,soyproteinwasfirstextractedfromsoydregandthedifferentconcentrationsolutionsofsoyproteinwerepreparedwithstrongalkalinesolutionunderultrasonicagitation.Theseproteinsolutionswerethencrosslinkedwithglutaraldehydeandplasticizedbyglycerintoformfilms.Preliminaryresultsshowedthatthecrosslinkedfilmfromhigherconcentrationsolution(20wt%)ofsoyproteinexhibitedlowerwatercontent,higherwater-absorptionrate,andbettermechanicalpropertythanthosepreparedbylowerproteinconcentration(10wt%and5wt%). |
