Abstract:Polyacrylamide/tungsten oxide nano-composite films were prepared by in–situ polymerization, tungsten powder was added into the hydrogen peroxide to prepare the peroxotungstenic acid aqueous solutions, which is used as precursors for the in-situ process to mix into the aqueous solution of acrylamide , Ammonium persulfate (APS) was used to initialize the polymerization. The properties of the nanocomposite was characterized by several ways. The chemistry structure of the nanocomposite film was characterized by FT-IR and the thermal property was investigated by TGA and DSC. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was employed to observe the microstructure of the composite film. The results showed that PAM/WO3 nano-composite was prepared successfully.
