Asimportantenergystoragedevices,supercapacitorshaveattractedgreatinterestistsinthepastdecadesduetocombiningtheadvantagesofthehighpowerofdielectriccapacitorswiththehighspecificenergyofrechargeablebatteries,aswellasitsmanypotentialapplications,suchashybridelectricvehicles,uninterruptedpowersupplies,digtalcommunicationdevices,electronicdevices,andotherhigh-powerapparatuses.Asatypicalclassofconductivepolymer,polyaniline(PANI)hasarousedconsiderableattentionoverthelastseveraldecadesbecauseofitssimplepolymerization,chemicalandenvironmentalstability,highelectricalconductivityanditsexcellentelectricalpropertiesbychangingoxidationstatesandprotonationstates.Inrecentyears,PANIisusedasoneoftheattractiveelectrodematerialsforsupercapacitorsduetoitsadvantageouspropertiesincludinglowcostcomparedtonoblemetaloxidesandhighdoping/dedopingrateduringcharge/dischargeprocess.However,theuseofindividualPANIforsupercapacitorelectrodematerialislimitedduetoitspoorcyclestability.WhentheadvantagesofPANIarecombinedwithcarbonmaterials,theresultingnanocompositesprovidesynergisticeffectashighperformanceelectrodematerials[1].Graphene,asingle-atom-thickperfectlytwo-dimensionallatticeofpuresp2-bondedcarbonatomshasrecentlybecomeasensationalmaterialthatdemonstratesanumberofspectacularquantummechanical,optical,andmolecularinteractionphenomena.ThestudyonthenanocompositesofPANIandgraphenehasbeenreportedrecently[2].
