Inordertoanalyzethetensileperformanceofthe3Dwovencomposites,amicrostructureofthe3Dorthogonalarchitecturewasestablishedinthispaper.Onthebasisofthismicrostructuremodel,aFiniteElementModeling(FEM)wasbuilttosimulatethetensileprocessofthecomposites.ThroughthisFEMmodel,thetensiledisplacement-loadcurve,deformationandfailuremodeofthecompositesduringtensileprocesscanbedistinguished.ToidentifythisFEMmodel,thetensilepropertyofthecompositesampleswastested.Fromthecomparisonbetweennumericalresultsandexperimentalresults,itwasprovedthatthemodelinthispaperwasvalidandreasonable.Thesimplifiedmethodinthispapercanbeextendedtomodelsforotherkindsof3Dtextilecomposites.
