Rareearthcomplex/polyurethanematerialswerepreparedfromsalicylicacidrareearthcomplex,isophoronediisocyanate(IPDI),PEG600,andβ-hydroxyethylmethacrylate(HEMA)inthepresenceofdibutytindilaurate(DBTL)ascatalystand2,2-azo-bis-iso-butyro-nitrile(AIBN)asinitiator.Thepropertiesofthematerialsweremeasuredbydynamicmechanicalanalysis(DMA),thermogravimetricanalysis(TGA),fluorescenceandopticalpropertiestesting.Theeffectofcontentofrareearthcomplexonthefinalpropertieswasevaluated.Theresultsshowthattherareearthcomplex/polyurethanematerialspresentgoodfluorescent,thermalandmechanicalproperties.Thecompositematerialsareexpectedforthefieldofluminescentmaterials.
