Japan’s coatings industry has facing an ongoing downward trend in production volume in 2008 and 2009. Productions volumes have increased slightly in 2010, but in order to achieve a turnaround in the market, Japanese coatings manufacturers plan several measures which are described by Tatsuhiko Yamazaki, Director Japan Paint Manufacturers Association (JPMA) in the following video.
