Polymerization under heterogeneous condition especially in aqueous media has important industrial advantages such as the high polymerization rate, the low viscosity and the direct synthesis of polymeric particles. My work is aimed principally at the three items listed below.
(1) The general or controlled radical polymerization under heterogeneous conditions;
(2) Polymer particles employed as scaffold for noble metal nanocatalys;
(3) Self-assembled block copolymer nanoparticles.
