Dr. Liusheng Zha received his Bachelor
degree of Polymer Reaction Engineering from Hefei University of Technology in
1985, and Master degree of Analytical Chemistry from University of Science and
Technology of China in 1990. In 2002, he acquired his Ph.D degree of Polymer
Chemistry and Physics from Fudan University. In 2011, he did research as a
visiting scholar in Clemson University of America.
Dr. Zha is now a full professor of
Donghua University (DU). He is the researcher of State Key Laboratory for
Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials. His research interest is
focused on intelligent polymer materials. Prior to joining DU, he was a
professor of Anhui University and once acted as vice director of Polymer
Materials Institute and director of Modern Experiment Technology Center. During
this period, he pursued his research on synthesis and application of water
borne polyurethanes.
Dr. Zha is the author
of over 120 papers that appeared in the academic publications, such as Advanced
Materials, Soft Matter, Journal of Colloid and Interface, Colloid and Polymer
Science, etc. His major contributions are on the synthesis of temperature
responsive and pH/temperature dually responsive nanogels or hollow nanogels,
and their application in drug delivery and medical diagnosis.
