On November 27, 2018, at the invitation of professor yu wei from the department of engineering, Dr. Aravind Vijayaraghavan from the national graphene research institute of the university of Manchester came to our school for an exchange visit, which was the second in-depth negotiation between the two sides this year. The two sides exchanged views on the promotion work of the international joint research center for new energy materials and the latest project progress of the research group. Some teachers and students representatives from the engineering department and graduate students participated in the exchange.
Dr. Aravind described the latest project progress of his team, including graphene-based polymer thin film sensors, and the industrialization progress of graphene in enhancing rubber properties. The two sides made detailed docking on further cooperation projects of the research group. This visit and exchange strongly promoted the progress of the international joint research center for new energy materials of our university and strengthened the deepening cooperation with the national graphene research institute of the university of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
