Prof. Dr. Zhigang Yin is a full professor at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (FJIRSM, CAS). He received his Ph.D. degree in materials physics and chemistry from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then he worked  in succession as a visiting scholar and a visiting professor (DAAD  Fellow) at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany as well as  a visiting scientist at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society (FHI), respectively. He started his academic career in FJIRSM, CAS in 2011, and was promoted as a Full Professor in 2018. His research interests mainly focus on optoelectronic materials and devices, flexible electronics, semiconductor physics, as well as interfacial science.
