Based on my research experiences and interests, I am interested in understanding the formation mechanism and solution/solid state dynamics of nano-scaled molecular metal oxide clusters in solution state and under nano-confinement.
I also aim to develop self-assembly strategies for building functional materials, including catalysts, porous materials, proton conductors, and semi-conductors, from single nano-scaled molecular clusters and polymer/cluster nano-composite for catalysis, ion transportation, and separation technology. Generally speaking, my research projects fall in the interdisciplinary area among catalysis, inorganic chemistry, nanoscience and soft matter science.
