Since 2004, distillation precipitation polymerization has been developed by our group as a novel, facile and powerful technique for the synthesis of monodisperse functional polymer microspheres, which includes the following aspects.
1) Synthesiss of monodisperse polymer microspheres with different functional groups;
2) Synthesis of core-shell microspheres and the further construction of the hollow nanoparticles as well as their application;
3) Synthesis of multi-layer inorganic/polymer composite/hybrid microspheres as well as their application;
4) Heterocoagulation of the self-assembly of functional polymer microspheres for the construction of the raspberry-like core-corona polymer composites/hybrids as well as their application;
5) Syntheis of the functional polymer microsphere-stabilized metallic nanocolloids as well as their catalysis.
6) Synthesis of inorganic/polymer hybrid materials and their application
