He is currently the deputy general manager of the technology center of Xingye leather science and Technology Co., Ltd., the director of Fujian Key Laboratory of green leather design and manufacturing, and the leader of the ecological design and R & D team of high-performance and multi-functional ecological leather manufacturing technology.

Over the years, Comrade Wen Huitao has been committed to the design, research and development, optimization, application, evaluation and innovation management of high-performance and multi-functional ecological leather manufacturing technology. He has presided over or participated in hundreds of national (2), provincial (4), municipal (8) and enterprise ecological leather, high-performance and multi-functional leather, and leather waste recycling projects. He has creatively put forward the identification methods and ecological design methods of leather technology problems, It has developed clean leather preparation technology, low chrome / no chrome tanning technology, environmental friendly wet dyeing and finishing technology, water-based finishing technology, high-performance leather imparting technology, waste liquid and waste recycling technology, and developed a series of Napa, natural fall, small and medium-sized cattle and other shoe upper leather, which has created good economic benefits.
