Prof. Zhongkai Wang received his B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Hefei University of Technology in 2009 and Ph.D. in Material and Processing Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China in 2014. After working with Dr. Chuanbing Tang as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of South Carolina, he joined the Department of Material Science and Engineering, Anhui Agriculture University in as a full professor 2016. His research interests include plant oil conversion, plant oil-based polymer materials, and biomimetic materials of spider silk. He is currently dean of school of light textile engineering and art, director of Biomass Molecular Engineering Center at AAU. His research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Program of China, and the Natural Science Foundation of Anhui, etc. At present, he has authored over 90 peer-review papers in Nature Reviews Chemistry, Nature Communications, Cell Reports Physical Science, and other journals.
