On the morning of October 9, 2017, Associate Professor Roman Boulatov from the University of Liverpool, UK, visited our research group for academic exchange and visit, upon the invitation of Professor Wei Tian.

   First, Associate Professor Boulatov delivered an academic presentation titled "The Challenges and Opportunities of Polymer Mechanochemistry" in Room 383 of the College of Science. Over 30 faculty members and students from the College of Science attended the seminar. Associate Professor Boulatov discussed his latest research achievements in the field of mechanochemistry, particularly focusing on the main research methods of polymer mechanochemistry. His presentation sparked broad interest among the attendees, and everyone actively engaged in discussions and exchanges with him. 

   After the seminar, accompanied by Professor Wei Tian, Associate Professor Boulatov visited the College of Science and the Key Laboratory of Polymer Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province.
