Tan Xiaoyao, Ph.D., male, second-level professor of Tianjin University of Technology, doctoral tutor, Elsevier China high-cited scholar. 1984-1988, Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, Xiangtan University; 1991-1995, Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Ph.D., Industrial Catalysis, Dalian University of Technology, 1995-1997. He has served as an associate professor and professor of chemical engineering at Shandong University of Technology. He was interviewed at the National University of Singapore (1998-2000), the University of Bath (2001), and the Imperial College of Technology (2004-2006), Canada, 2002-2003. Visiting Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, Sherbrooke University, 2009-2010 Royal Academy of Engineering, UK and China. In 2010, he was appointed as a special professor in Tianjin.

The technology of impregnating activated carbon desulfurization technology and ceramic hollow fiber membrane preparation and application technology was developed.
