Shanqiu Liu, Professor, received his Ph.D. from the University of Twente, the Netherlands (2013.10–2017.10), and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Zurich, Switzerland (2018.01–2021.09). He is a recipient of the Zhejiang Overseas High-Level Talent Program, Qianjiang Distinguished Expert Award, Grand Canal Young Scholar Program, and South Taihu Elite Program, and currently serves as a member of both the China Association of Young Scientists and Technologists and the Zhejiang Association of Young Scientists and Technologists.

Prof. Liu has presided over three national and provincial-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Zhejiang Overseas High-Level Talent Program, as well as two enterprise-funded R&D projects. As a core participant, he has also contributed to one EU INTERREG project and one European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project.

He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed research papers as the first or corresponding author in prestigious international journals such as Advanced Materials (IF 32.1), Nano-Micro Letters (IF 36.3), ACS Nano (IF 18.0), Advanced Functional Materials (IF 19.0), and Small (IF 15.2). His research achievements have been featured in interviews by the world-leading nanotechnology center MESA+ Institute and MIT Technology Review (Chinese Edition).

Prof. Liu serves as a guest editor for high-impact journals including Chemistry – A European Journal (Q1), Polymers (Q1), and Nanomaterials (Q2). He has delivered six invited or oral presentations at international conferences in Europe and seven invited or keynote talks at major academic conferences in China. He holds more than ten invention patents.
