Due to the continuous development of the research group, we are recruiting young faculty members and postdoctoral researchers on a long-term basis.

Preferred Research Areas:
Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Materials and Engineering, Organic Synthesis, or Computational Modeling of Material Structures and Properties.

Team Introduction:
The group focuses on the functionalization and high-performance development of polymer-based nanocomposites, with research areas covering:

1. Preparation and application of functional micro/nanoporous materials.

2. Development and utilization of biomass-based functional composites.
3. Design and development of special-wettability functional interfaces and advanced coating materials.

About the PI – Professor Shanqiu Liu:
Professor Shanqiu Liu obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Twente (the Netherlands) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). He is currently a Distinguished Professor at the Frontier Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Zhejiang University of Technology. He has been selected for the Zhejiang Overseas High-Level Talent Program, Qianjiang Distinguished Expert, Grand Canal Young Scholar Program, and South Taihu Elite Program, and serves as a member of both the China Association of Young Scientists and Technologists and the Zhejiang Association of Young Scientists and Technologists. Professor Liu has presided over three national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Zhejiang Overseas High-Level Talent Program, as well as two enterprise R&D projects. He has published over 40 SCI research papers as the first or corresponding author in top international journals such as Advanced Materials (IF 32.1), Nano-Micro Letters (IF 36.3), ACS Nano (IF 18.0), Advanced Functional Materials (IF 19.0), and Small (IF 15.2).
