Dr. FENG Jie, got his bachelor degree in polymer processing specialty and master degree in polymer synthesis specialty thus has strong background on polymer synthesis, modification, and processing fields. He got his PhD in biomaterials and microfabrication field. In 2005-2007, he has worked as a postdoctoral research fellow for two years in school of chemical & biomedical engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). During these two years, he worked hard on fabricating 3D microchannled biodegradable polymer scaffold and culturing SMC and EC in vitro towards create a tissue engineered vascular vessel in vitro.
Since he gone back to China, He has obtained many funds from National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 50703037, 51172206), Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation (Y407256) and Zhejiang Qianjiang Project (2007R10005). Some of these findings focused in vascular regeneration and some of them on studying if superhydrophobic modification could improve blood compatibility. He was awarded associate professor title in 2007. During past 10 years, he has published many papers on SCI journals such as Advanced Materials, Tissue Engineering, Chemistry of Materials, et al.
