Dr. Xiaohua Chen, a Professor in theoretical and computational chemistry, has joined the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Chongqing University since July, 2009. Dr. Chen obtained his Ph. D. from Shandong University in June, 2009. He has studied at Jiali Gao Group of the University of Minnesota as a visiting scholar from 02/2005 to 02/2016. Dr. Chen majors in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry and mainly works on theoretical biochemistry and biological fuel cells. He is interesting in electron transfer, proton transfer, mass and energy transfer and the corresponding modulations during the biological processes.
