Bai Chenxi, Ph.D., researcher of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, project leader, doctoral supervisor, director of Key Laboratory of High-Performance Synthetic Rubber and its Composite Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice-chairman of Applied Chemistry Committee of Chinese Chemical Society, member of Rubber Specialty Committee of Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, State council government subsidy recipients.
He has engaged in the synthesis, preparation, application and theoretical research of high performance synthetic rubber materials. He has published more than 80 research papers in journals such as Green Chemistry, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering,Macromolecules, Catalysis Science & Technology, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Applied Surface Science, Molecular Catalysis, Catalysis Communications, RSC Advances, Polymer. He has applied and authorized Chinese patents for more than 100. He has presided over more than 30 projects such as the National Science-technology Support Plan Projects, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key deployment project of Chinese academy of sciences, and horizontal subject between Jilin province and enterprise, which got great achievements in the leading position of the world.
He has successively gained the awards including Chinese chemical society "Hou Debang chemical youth science and technology award", Youth Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award for China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and National Excellent Scientist of Petroleum and Chemical Industry. In 2012 he obtained the XX Program preferential support of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and been rated as "excellent" (level A) in final evaluation in 2016. In addition, he obtained special invited researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, "Wang kuancheng distinguished talent project” reward of Chinese Academy of Sciences, First prize of industry-university-research cooperation innovation of China, Technological Invention Award first prize in Jilin province, top-notch innovative talents in Jilin province and so on.
