【组织简介】 CEPAC (Chemical Engineering Pan-American Collaboration) is an organization that promotes US-South America collaboration in Chemical Engineering research in the areas of: catalysis, process systems engineering, interfacial phenomena and thermodynamics, biotechnology. It was conceived as a result of the activities held during the Pan-American Workshop to promote collaboration in Chemical Engineering. Geographic proximity, cultural affinity and mutual economic benefits lead to ever closer interdependence between North and South America, including strong partnerships in Chemical Engineering education, research, technology and development.The organization develops a framework with specific mechanisms that:a. Encourage the establishment; b. Support the continuation; c. Enhance the effectiveness of partnerships among Chemical Engineering academic institutions of North and South America,with possible participation from industry.
