Crenox: titanium dioxide demand explodes

Crenox, a producer of titanium dioxide products, expects increasing demand for titanium dioxide products. According to the company, strong demand growth is forecasted regionally and worldwide. The titanium dioxide producer observed steady demand growth in Europe, the Americas as well as in Asia. Especially demand in India is growing, presumably due to the very limited domestic TiO2 production capacity in strong contrast to the other Asian boom market China. "The increased interest is mirrored in the extreme demand growth", said Crenox’ general manager, Stefan Schaap. "We could currently sell much more than we can produce." The company therefore expects to see full utilization of its plant well into 2012.
