APIC: Asia on the way to more eco-friendly coatings

More than 60 representatives from different Asian Associations and coatings companies have attended the 14th APIC Meeting (18-20 October) in Suzhou/China. Reporting from the different markets, many countries showed positive figures - not only referring to production volumes but also to the total share of eco-friendly coatings. Issues addressed by national associations as well as representatives of IPPIC included as lead risk reduction. A common declaration of intent by all APIC member states is expected to be published at next year’s meeting.
