In this article, thermal-induced gelation of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) solution in dimethysulfoxide (DMSO) with non-solvent additive was studied through rheological measurement. With the temperature sweep at a certain frequency, the gelation temperature was obtained by measuring the crossover point of G′ and G′′ based on the Winter and Chambon theory, and the effects of water content on the gelation temperature were analyzed. As a result, water is an effective gel promoter to PAN/DMSO solution, and the optimum value of water content is about 2wt%. |
