Recently, there have been so many studies on nanotechnology and nano-science. The situation is almost the same for polymer nanotechnology and rubber or elastomer nanotechnology in narrower sense. However, most of
these studies have not been useful in actual life or society.One of the main reasons for this situation is the lack of the relationship between nanotechnology and macro- or mega-technology. It would be worth introducing a witty remark by Prof. Whitehouse at the University of Warwich,who is my best friend and one of the founders of nanotechnology:“You cannot drive a nano-car on the road.”
I feel exactly the same way about the matter. I dare say“You can drive a super car based on nanotechnology.” |
