Our recent studies on strain-induced crystallization (SIC) behaviors of natural rubber (NR) and isoprene rubber (IR) have suggested a highly heterogeneous network structure of sulfur cross-linked rubbers relative to that of peroxide cross-linked ones [1, 2]. Also, our recent paper of structural study of NR and IR by use of small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) technique revealed a heterogeneous structure [3]. On the application of SANS to polymer science field, one of the present authors has published a detailed review. |
