Rare earth metal ternary catalyst was used to syntheize epoxides and carbon dioxide copolymer.
Rare earth compound is demonstrated to be crucial in raising the catalytic activity and improving the
micro-structure of the aliphatic polycarbonates. The Tg of the aliphatic polycarbonate is adjustable from
-150C to 1200C by controlling the relative molar ratio of the comonomers.
