We are pleased to announce that the 6th Symposium on Innovative Polymers for Controlled Delivery (SIPCD 2024) will be held in September 20-23, 2024 at the Worldhotel Grand DushuLake, Suzhou, China.
SIPCD held biennially since 2010 has been established as a high-level conference in the fields of biomedical materials, controlled delivery and pharmaceutics. The delivery system is central to nearly all emerging healthcare technologies including nanomedicines, targeted therapy, personalized medicines, gene therapy, molecular imaging, smart diagnosis, protein and cell therapy, imaging-guided surgery, immunotherapy, mRNA vaccines and tissue regeneration. SIPCD has an aim to provide a unique forum that not only facilitates discussion on the cutting-edge delivery technologies and new findings, but also stimulates open and meaningful debate on the critical challenges and potential solutions, thus laying a foundation for future developments and clinical translation. SIPCD 2024 is co-organized by Soochow University and Branch of Biomedical Polymer Materials, Chinese Society for Biomaterials.
As for our previous symposia, SIPCD 2024 will welcome about 600 participants across the world. We have planned 26 plenary lectures by worldwide leading experts, a rising star session (10 young excellent researchers will be selected to give a short oral presentation, please submit application or nomination by sending the CV to the secretariat, sipcd@suda.edu.cn), and about 300 poster presentations by prominent researchers and PhD students. The whole symposium is organized in one single session, thus offering you the possibility to be present at all lectures and discussions. We hope that SIPCD 2024 will help to shape your future research directions, enlighten and inspire young students and scientists in the community, and offer a lovely venue and atmosphere for social networking with pioneers and colleagues.
The scientific and social program of SIPCD 2024 will be particularly exciting as it is also in conjunction with celebration of the 80th birthday of Prof. Jan Feijen.
