On August 20, I have visited Toyohashi University of Technology and given a presentation entitled “Synthesis and properties of nonlinear macromolecular architectures via controlled polymerization and linking chemistry” (host: Prof. Shinichi Itsuno).
On August 22, I have visited Nagoya Institute of Technology and given a talk entitled “Synthesis and properties of solid supports grafted with well-defined polymeric chains” (host: Prof. Masato Suzuki).
On August 23, I have visited Nagoya University and given a presentation on “Synthesis of complex macromolecular architectures via living/controlled polymerization” (host: Prof. Masami Kamigaito).
During the visit, I have made wide discussions with some professors including Shinichi Itsuno, Naoki Haraguchi and Kazutaka Shibatomi at Toyohashi University of Technology, Masato Suzuki, Koji Takagi, Shin-ichi Matsuoka and Akinori Takasu at Nagoya Institute of Technology, and Yoshio Okamoto, Yushu Matsushita, Masami Kamigaito, Takahiro Seki, Eiji Yashima, Kotaro Satoh and Kanji Nagai at Nagoya University. I really enjoyed the valuable discussions and was deeply impressed by their advanced researches in polymer science and organic chemistry.
