ES Energy & Environment Special Section on “Thermal radiation for energy applications”
Call for Papers
This special section of ES Energy & Environment will center on recent promising
approaches, experiments, new concepts and developments in manipulating thermal
radiation for energy applications, such as photonic energy transport,
conversion, harvesting and thermal management, etc. Examples of research in
these areas include but are not limited to the following:
l Thermophotovoltaics
l Radiative cooling
l Near-field radiative energy transfer
l Solar energy thermal conversion
l Photonic nanofluids
l Thermal diodes and transistors
l Metasurface for light absorption
l Volumetric solar energy collection
l Plasmonic heating
l Solar energy harvesting
l Experiments on photonic energy related applications
All submissions will be peer reviewed. Peer review will commence immediately upon manuscript submission, with a goal of making a first decision within six weeks of manuscript receipt. Manuscripts should be submitted through the Manuscript Tracking System at http://espublisher.com/journal/1102.html/.
Manuscript submission deadline: 31st December, 2019

About ES Energy & Environment
Aims and Scope
ES Energy & Environment is a peer-reviewed international journal for the publication of very high quality, ground-breaking research from across all areas of energy capture, conversion and storage, alternative fuel technologies and environmental science. Special emphasis is on
studies of broad interest that leads to a deeper understanding of the functional mechanisms underlying chemical, physical, and/or biological processes. Four issues a year, each issue helps engineers and scientists stay on top of theoretical and technological advances in all areas associated with the energy and environment primarily through peer-reviewed original research
manuscripts, short letters, or review articles.
Editorial
ES Energy & Environment is led by Editor-in-Chief, Professor Bingyang Cao at Tsinghua University, China. An international Editorial Committee of Associate Editors recommend decisions to the Editor-in-Chief and a broad subject- and geographically-based Advisory
Editorial Board, composed of leading Energy & Environment researchers from around the world, supports the management of the journal.
