On December 19th, 2010, the 6th Annual Conference of Life Science and Technology in Wuhan Area was held in Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics. More than 300 teachers and students from universities, institutes and hospitals attended this conference. Doctoral students Lin Huang and Lin Xiao in our group attended and made presentations.
Doctoral student Lin Huang gave a report entitled “A New Nano-Cellulose As the Extended-Release Drug Carriers” in the Bomedicine&Biomaterials branch venue. Doctoral student Lin Xiao gave a report entitled “High Performance Biobased Composites from Poly (lactic acid) and Microcrystalline Cellulose” in the Biomedical Engineering branch venue.
The Annual Conference of Life Science and Technology in Wuhan Area is the distinctive project of the College of Life Science & Technology, HUST, having been successfully held five times. It is leading to the expansion of the scope of academic exchange and the integration of cross-disciplinary, through the communications of experts around the Wuhan area.
