Professor Yang Guang, Ms.Fu Lina and Mr.Liu Kun attended the Chinese Biomaterials Congress

        2010 Chinese Biomaterials Congress (CBMC), hosted by the Chinese biomaterials Commission and organized by Sichuan University, was held in Chengdu from 4.15 to 4.18 as the pre-conferences of the ninth World Biomaterials Congress in 2012. Leaders of state, Sichuan Province, Chengdu and Sichuan University attended the meeting and made small speeches. Academician Shi Changxu and other eight academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Science were present and gave important speeches and reports.

Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scholars

Professor Yang Guang from Huazhong University of Sci & Tech was invited to the meeting and gave her oral presentation of “Manufacture of Bacterial Cellulose Artificial Vein”. PhD. Fu Lina gave her oral presentation of “Tissue Compatibility and Safety Evaluation of Nano-Bacterial Cellulose Skin Repair Materials”.  Master Liu Kun gave his oral report of “Controllable Bio-manufacture of Bacterial Cellulose”.
CBMC set the Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scholars, and Master Liu Kun has received the laurel among the 15 award winners.
The CBMC showed the latest progress and international advanced achievements of the research, development, test evaluation, clinical applications, production, education and management of Chinese biomaterial, which provided an interdisciplinary dialogue platform for scholars, business people and managers and promoted the development of biomaterial science and industry. There were more than 1,200 delegates, 20 exhibitors, 1133 abstracts, 5 plenary lectures, 49 invited lectures, 569 oral reports, 463 posters, 70 parallel sessions, 4 seminars and 2 special topic forums.
