 A simple electrochemical biosensor was developed based on N-doped carbon quantum dots (NCQDs) modified glass carbon electrode (NCQDs/GCE). The modified electrode displayed a good linear and broad response for detection of dopamine (DA). The as-prepared biosensor also exhibited satisfactory selectivity even the interference of ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA). The inorganic ions had no effect on detecting of DA as well.
