Xihui Bian-Xihui Bian

Xihui Bian, female, PhD., born in December 26th, 1983 Shangdong, China, Professor and Master Supervisor in Tiangong University, Visiting Scholar at Radboud University. I am a member of Computational Chemistry Professional Committee in Chinese Chemical Society, Director of the Pharmaceutical Quality Analysis and Process Control Branch of China Instrument and Control Society, Director of the Near Infrared Spectroscopy Branch of China Instrument and Control Society, and Senior Member of Chinese Chemical Society. I am also the young editor for "Journal of Instrumental Analysis", guest editor for "Applied Sciences" and reviewer editor for "Frontiers in Chemistry". I was recognized as an Outstanding Reviewer for "Analytical Methods", "Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry", "Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis" and "Journal of Instrumental Analysis". I received the 3rd Lu Wanzhen Youth Award for Near Infrared Spectroscopy from China Instrument and Control Society, the third-level candidate for the "131" innovative talent training project in Tianjin, my favorite graduate supervisor and outstanding teacher at Tiangong University.
As a student of chemometric experts Prof. Xueguang Shao and Lutgarde Buydens/ Jeroen Jansen, I mainly focus on chemometrics and its application in medicine, food, environment, energy, etc. I chaired one National Natural Science Foundation of China project and two provincial and ministerial level projects, participated seven funds in national and provincial and ministerial level. I have published more than 60 scientific research papers and applied for 30 patents, including more than 50 SCI papers and 9 granted patents with H-index 18. I was invited as reviewers for "Analytical Chemostry", "Food Chemistry", "ACS Sensors", "Scientific Report","Analytica Chimica Acta", "Tanlanta", "RSC Advance"," Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy", "Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems", "Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis", "Analytical Methods", "Applied Spectroscopy", "Journal of Chemometrics", "Energy & Fuels", "Infrared Physics and Technology", "IEEE Access", "Journal of Separation Science", "Journal of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry" and "Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis" and reviewed manuscripts for more than 370 times.
From September 2002 to July 2006, I was Bachelor major in Applied Chemistry, School of Material Science and Chemical Engineering in Tiangong University and supervised by Professor Xiujun Liu received B. S. degree. From September 2006 to July 2008, I was Master majored in Applied Chemistry, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University and supervised by Professor Xueqin Zhou/Dongzhi Liu, received M.S. degree. From September 2008 to July 2011, I was a Doctor in Analytical Chemistry, College of Chemistry, Nankai University and supervised by Professor Xueguang Shao, received Ph.D. degree. From 2012 until now, I do research and teach in Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tiangong University. I mainly teach undergraduates, master and overseas students for Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Biochemistry, Scientific Writing and Computer Technology of Chemical Engineering courses.
